I am an artist of many trades, stemming from an intense curiosity and passion for life. I am inspired by everything around me and have an insatiable desire to continuously create. My main focus is Photography followed by web & graphics design and modeling.
I started in web/graphic design and photo manipulation as a hobby for friends bands when I was a teenager. As I grew up I decided to make a career of it, built a portfolio and began working my way up through a network of many of the states largest advertising agencies until I decided to leave my position as Creative/Interactive director and become a freelance consultant. This way I would have more control over who I worked with and also be able to focus more time onto my art.
I started modeling when I was around 11 years old, and through modeling I have met and worked with some absolutely brilliant photographers. I absorbed everything I could from them about lighting, color, posing, framing/composition, etc. I took this experience and coupled it with my knowledge of design principles, aesthetics, layout and color to create my own style of photography and graphic manipulation.
My favorite type of photography is documentary, I am a story teller by nature and I love being able to capture a mood, a moment in time, and be able to share this in such a way that one might feel the same way upon viewing as I felt being there in the moment. I am also experienced in portrait and editorial photography, while I work best in natural light I also am fully capeable of setting up and working with studio lighting as well.
